Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Euro London Appointments is delighted to assist in the recruitment of a KYC Assistant for a well-established bank that is expanding its team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual looking to develop their career in compliance and financial services.

The Role:

As a KYC Assistant, you will support the onboarding and periodic review of clients to ensure compliance with UK legal requirements and maintain high-quality customer data. You will work in a supportive department of 6 people, plus a manager, where collaboration and team spirit are key.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyse client documentation and conduct KYC checks, including sanctions and adverse media screening.
• Maintain client files and update information in internal systems (Flexcube and SISBB).
• Manage the periodic review schedule, coordinating with the Sales team to refresh client documentation.
• Review the relationship chain of Directors and Shareholders.
• Prepare summaries of key KYC information for risk assessments and initiate extraordinary reviews as required.

Post-Probation:

After successfully completing the probation period, a hybrid work arrangement can be offered, with a minimum of three days per week in the office.

Requirements:

• Fluent in both written and spoken English and Portuguese.
• Good working knowledge of Excel (intermediate level).
• A degree in Finance or Banking is a plus.
• Previous experience in a similar role would be an advantage.
