Finance Director - Fluent French Speaking

This is a pivotal leadership position, overseeing financial operations and strategy. Reporting to the CEO, the Head of Finance will drive financial performance, ensure compliance with regulations, and support business growth.

The role will require travel to France 25% of the time.

Duties will include:

• Partnering with the CEO and leadership team to create accurate business plans and forecasts.
• Enhancing financial processes and systems for scalability and compliance.
• Leading financial reporting, ensuring adherence to IFRS standards.
• Managing risk, improving processes, and overseeing company record-keeping.
• Supervising due diligence and leading negotiations with third parties.
• Providing financial leadership to improve efficiency, profitability, and cash flow.
• Overseeing direct and indirect tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
• Leading and developing the finance team, driving succession planning, and managing stakeholder expectations.

The ideal candidate will be a fluent French speaking qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with experience in a multi-entity finance function, preferably in the Software industry. Proficiency in IFRS, hands-on expertise in finance operations, and familiarity with reporting to a publicly listed group are essential. Strong organisational skills, technical proficiency, and the ability to manage shifting priorities are key to success in this role.
