About Our Client
Michael Page are working with a highly successful, industry leading business going through a period of continued growth. They are seeking a motivated individual to join their dynamic Finance team as a German speaking Credit Controller.
Job Description
Responsibilities include:
- Proactive Credit Control
- Ensure thorough saturation of the accounts receivable ledger to maximise collections and minimise overdue debt
- Investigation and Resolution of Unapplied Cash
- Investigate and resolve any instances of unapplied cash to ensure accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Assist with month-end closing activities and reconciliations
- Ensuring all accounts are accurately balanced and discrepancies are promptly addressed
- Maintain and update the accounts receivable ledger to ensure all entries are current and accurate
- Perform additional tasks as required by management or to meet the evolving needs of the business
- Resolve any queries related to invoices to ensure timely payments
The Successful Applicant
The candidate will have/be:
- Fluent German speaker - Essential
- Prior experience within a Finance setting - Essential
- Demonstrate examples of continuous improvement - Essential
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel - Essential
- Existing knowledge of Accounting software & ERP systems - Desirable
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal - Essential
- Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships - Essential
