German-Speaking Associate Director / Senior Research Manager

A leading international insights and research consultancy is seeking a fluent German-speaking Associate Director or Senior Research Manager to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded research professional to take ownership of key German-speaking client accounts within a dynamic, data-driven environment.
The Opportunity
You will play a pivotal role leading end-to-end research projects for clients across the events, exhibitions, and corporate sectors, acting as the primary contact for German-speaking markets. This is a highly visible, client-facing position where your language skills and storytelling ability will be just as important as your technical expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver quantitative research projects from briefing through to insight delivery
- Design surveys, analyse data, and translate findings into actionable recommendations
- Act as the main point of contact for German-speaking clients, building strong, long-term relationships
- Present insights confidently in both German and English
- Identify opportunities to grow accounts and support wider commercial objectives
- Manage multiple projects independently while collaborating with internal teams
About You
- Fluent German (essential) – business-level fluency required for client communication
- Strong English communication skills (written and spoken)
- Proven experience in market research (quantitative focus; qualitative a plus)
- Confident presenter with the ability to turn complex data into compelling insights
- Experience in client management / account handling
- Self-starter with excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Background in insights, research agencies, or customer experience preferred

- Salary in the region of £45,000 – £55,000 DOE + performance bonus
