Our Client, based in Basingstoke, is looking for a Service and Sales Executive to join their team and play a key role in delivering an exceptional customer experience while supporting the sales teams to achieve their targets.

Based at their Basingstoke HQ, you ll be supporting their customers in France, acting as a central point of contact for Area Sales Managers and their territories.

You ll manage a mix of inbound and outbound activity, ensuring queries are handled efficiently and opportunities to add value are maximised. Working as part of a collaborative and high-performing team, you ll build strong relationships internally and externally, developing a strong understanding of our products, systems and processes to support both service and sales success.

This is a business that works withn the golf industry - knoweldge and / or interest of Golf is therefore essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day sales and service support to Area Sales Managers and customers in France
• Handle inbound calls and emails, identifying and resolving customer queries efficiently
• Take ownership of issues and aim for First Call Resolution wherever possible
• Support outbound sales and service activity alongside the field sales team
• Identify opportunities to upsell during customer interactions
• Deliver against individual sales targets set annually
• Accurately record and manage customer interactions within CRM systems
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring a high level of satisfaction
• Collaborate with internal teams (e.g. Credit, Shipping, Operations) to resolve queries
• Develop knowledge of order processing, shipping and wider business operations

Experience Required:

• A strong customer focus with a passion for delivering excellent service
• An understanding of how service and sales work together to achieve results
• Interest in the golf industry and product knowledge ideal but not essential
• Previous experience in a customer service and/or inside sales role
• Fluent French language skills and mastery of the English language (essential)
• Strong communication skills with confidence on the phone and via email
• Ability to build relationships and work effectively with internal stakeholders
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• A collaborative, team-focused mindset, excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach
• Experience of using MS Office, CRM and ERP systems (Oracle advantageous)
