    Front of House Services and Retail Coordinator

    We are looking to recruit a Front of House and Retail Coordinator to join our Schools, Lifelong Learning & Culture service. This is a fixed-term contract ending 31/08/2026.

    About the role

    To be the welcoming face of Ceredigion Museum, manage the shop, front of house volunteers. Promote the museum and its activities. Ensure the safety of the museum, its visitors and staff.

    About the candidate
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
    • Good eye for detail and creativity
    • To have the ability to organise own work, prioritise tasks and work methodically, responding to busy/quiet periods appropriately
    • To have an understanding and commitment to the principles of Customer Care and Equal Opportunities insofar as they relate to Service users and colleagues

    Additional Information

    This role includes weekend working as part of a normal working week or rota. The successful candidate will be entitled to the following pay:

    • Saturday - Time and a quarter
    • Sunday - Time and a half

    This role may require bank holiday working. The successful candidate may receive a choice of double time or single time and a day off in lieu.
